Welcome to our parenting program, where we understand that every family faces unique challenges. While it may seem like you're alone in your struggles, rest assured, you are not. At Dee Haven Care Group Home, our Parental Group Living initiative offers children and youth a secure and safe living environment that not only addresses immediate concerns but also supports ongoing individual and family needs.
In this continuum of care, our program can serve as a short-term and/or longer-term placement option, providing the biological family with the time and resources needed to resolve issues that may be preventing children and youth from living at home or with extended family.
Our approach is rooted in family-centered care. We provide a range of supports designed to enhance the fundamental skills of the individuals we serve, and when relevant, their families, in order to create a more normalized family environment. We address a variety of issues, including communication, anger management, conflict resolution, peer relationships, and family dynamics, all within the context of our caring and nurturing framework.
